Directions to 41 High Point Drive, Amherst

Directions from Route 91 (northbound)
- 1) Exit the second Northampton exit, exit 19, Route 9

- 2) RIGHT at the end of the ramp on to 9 East.

- 3) Follow road for a few miles, past large shopping malls on both sides
of road, and into Amherst.

- 4) When you reach the traffic light intersection with route 116 South
you are in downtown Amherst. Go straight through downtown Amherst, continuing
on route 9 East.

- 5) At the NEXT traffic light turn LEFT (north) on to Southeast street.
There is a Florence Savings Bank on the near-right (south-west) corner
of this intersection.

- 6) After a short block (2/10 of a mile) you will get to a traffic light.
Go straight through the light, you are now heading north on Northeast
street.

- 7) Go 1.9 miles to an intersection in the road. Turn right on to Shutesbury
Road, and then immediately left on to Flat Hills Road.

- 8) Go 1 mile on Flat Hills Road, and turn right on to High Point Drive.

- 9) We are the 4th house on the right, #41.
Directions from the Pike (Boston)
- 1) Exit 8...Rt 32 Palmer/Amherst

- 2) LEFT at the end of the ramp (after the toll booth) on to 32 North.
Ignore signs telling you to go right!

- 3) Go 7/10 of a mile, turn LEFT at light, leaving 32 North. Sign points
to Thorndike and Three Rivers

- 4) Follow road for 2.2 miles, to a STOP sign. Turn right at the stop
sign on to 181 North.

- 5) Follow 181 North. In 8/10 of a mile 181 takes a LEFT turn. Don't
miss it! After the turn, go another 5.8 miles on 181 North, to the traffic
light at the center of Belchertown.

- 6) Go straight through the light, you will now be on route 202 North.
Stay on 202 North for 9/10 of a mile to the intersection with route 9.
Turn left on to route 9 West.
- 7) Stay on route 9 West all the way to Amherst. After 8 miles, at
the second traffic light in Amhers, turn right.(north) on to Southeast street. There
is a Cumberland Farms on the near-left (south-east) corner of this intersection.

- 8) After a short block (2/10 of a mile) you will get to a traffic light.
Go straight through the light, you are now heading north on Northeast
street.

- 9) Go 1.9 miles to an intersection in the road. Turn right on to Shutesbury
Road, and then immediately left on to Flat Hills Road.

- 10) Go 1 mile on Flat Hills Road, and turn right on to High Point Drive.

- 11) We are the 4th house on the right, #41.
Directions from Route 2 West
- 1) Exit 16, route 202 South. (8.8 miles after the route 202 North
exit).

- 2) Right at ramp, 10.3 miles on 202 South.
-
- 3) Right turn. Sign says 'Shutesbury 1'. Another sign says 'Lake
Wyola'.

- 4) Go up, up, up then down, down, down for 5.3 miles.

- 5) Turn left at the fork.

- 6) In .1 miles (one tenth) go straight on to January Hills Road when
the main road turns to the right. This happens immediately after crossing
a small bridge.

- 7) Go 1 mile on January Hills Road to 'T', turn right on to Market
Hill Road.

- 8) Go .4 (4/10) miles on Market Hill, turn left on to Flat Hills Road.
-
- 9) Go .4 (4/10) miles on Flat Hills, turn left on to High Point Drive.

- 10) We are the 4th house on the right, #41.
Directions from Route 91 (southbound)
- 1) Take route 91 south from Greenfield. Exit for route 116 south to
Sunderland and Amherst. (Exits 25 and 24 both will get you there, just
follow the signs.)

- 2) Stay on route 116 south across the river and continue on 116 south
through the traffic light in Sunderland center.

- 3) Continue south on Route 116 to Amherst (somewhere near the Sunderland/Amherst
border, you'll pass Bub's Barbecue and Annie's Greenhouse on the left).

- 4) At the first traffic light after entering Amherst, take a left onto
Meadow Street. The sign will indicate that you are turning onto Route 63
north.

- 5) After 4/10 of a mile, you reach another traffic light. Continue
straight through the light.

- 6) You are now on Pine Street. Follow Pine Street for about one mile.
The road will curve sharply to the left and then cross railroad tracks.
Immediately after the tracks, turn right on Market Hill Road.

- Note: Just after you turn on to Market Hill road there is another road
that goes off to the right. Don't take it...instead bear to the left,
staying on Market Hill.

- 7) Continue on Market Hill for a mile. Take the first right turn onto
Flat Hills Road.

- 8) Go 1/2 mile, then take the first left turn onto High Point Drive.
-
- 9) Number 41 is the fourth house on the right.
Directions to Boston via Route 2
- 2) Go left out of our driveway, and turn right on Flat Hills Road.
- 3) At the end of Flat Hills turn right on to Market Hill Road.
- 4) Go .4 (4/10) miles on Market Hill, turn left on to January Hills
Road.
- 5) Go 1 mile on January Hills Road to the stop sign.
- 6) Go straight after the stop sign for .1 miles (one tenth), then turn
right on to Shutesbury Road.
- 7) Go up, up, up then down, down, down for 5.3 miles. You will come
to a 'T' intersection and a stop sign at route 202.
- 8) Turn left and travel 10.3 miles on 202 North.
- 9) At the Sunoco station turn right on to the entrance ramp to route
2 East.
- 10) Go to Boston.
Directions to Boston via the Pike
- 1) Go left out of our driveway, and turn left on Flat Hills Road.
At the bottom of the hill, turn right at the stop sign & then immediately
turn left on to North East Street.

- 2) Go 1.9 miles to a traffic light.. Continue through that light,
and in 1 block you will get to a second light. Turn left on to Route 9
East.

- 3) Stay on route 9 East all the way to Belchertown. After 8 miles,
at the first traffic light, turn right.(south) on to route 202 South.
Stay on 202 South for 9/10 of a mile to the center of Belchertown.

- 4) Go straight through the light on to route 181 South. In about a
block, at a fork in the road, bear left, continuing on 181 South.

- 5) Continue for 5.8 miles on 181. The road will turn sharply to the
left, go down a hill, and cross a bridge. Turn right after the bridge,
staying on 181.

- 6) Go throught beautiful downtown Bondsville, and at the end of the
block take a right-left jog, staying on 181.

- 7) Pass a gas station on the right, go up a small hill, and then take
a soft left turn (possibly your second left after the gas station). There
MAY be a sign pointing you to the Pike.

- 8) Follow this road through a village and past a mill on the right,
across some railroad tracks, and up a hill. At the traffic light, turn
right.

- 9) Pass a shopping center on your right, then the Mass Pike entrance
will be on your right.
